St. Peter Claver organizes Lot party to celebrate Fr. Norman Fischer Day

On Tuesday, July 29th, parishioners of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church and the surrounding community came together to celebrate Fr. Norman Fischer Day, a new = local holiday established by Mayor Linda Gorton to honor and observe our brother in Christ. To honor the day, a party was organized to raise funds for the parish’s “Building Fund” to help expand the church’s parking lot and welcome new guests into their congregation. Families enjoyed listening to the Voodoo Blues Revival Band over a nice warm potluck provided by parishioners while kids had fun sliding down an inflatable, painting at the “Artner” table, and taking home balloon animals. God is good all the time for blessing a day dedicated to our beloved Fr. Norman Fischer.
