Eddie Michael of Louisa, Kentucky, has been nominated for the 2024-2025 Lumen Christi Award from the Catholic Extension Society of America.
Since its inception in 1978, the award has been given to people who “radiate and reveal the light of Christ present in the communities where they serve.” Among the criteria, the nominees are selected for “leading people closer to God and transforming communities located in the poorest regions of America. Their stories showcase the mission of the Church in action.”
