The Marquette Method is designed to take the ambiguity out of NFP. Instead of relying on symptoms associated with ovulation, women will track their reproductive hormone levels by testing a urine sample every day using a ClearBlue Fertility monitor. These results, combined with Marquette instructions, algorithms, and methods of charting, provide women with a method that is 99% effective in avoiding pregnancy. Testing for the presence of the ovulation hormones directly allows for couples to maximize the number of intimate days available in their cycle. This method is great for women during times of their life when it may be difficult to read ovulation symptoms such as cervical mucus (e.g. breastfeeding, menopause).

Angela Hobbs
Angela Hobbsis a wife, mother, homeschooler and registered nurse. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bellarmine University in 1999. After graduation, she worked in a variety of nursing positions, including the ICU and research. She and her husband Jamie learned Natural Family Planning (NFP) prior to getting married. Since 2004, they have raised our seven children as well as homeschooled them. Ministry to couples was something she felt called to and led to her training as an instructor of the Marquette Method of NFP in 2019. She thoroughly enjoys the ministry of working with couples to teach them about the gift of their fertility and empowering women with knowledge about their bodies. She would be honored to have the opportunity to walk this journey with you!
