The Faces of Mental Health Fighting the Stigma One Face at a Time

November 21 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

The Catholic Mental Health Ministry invites you to an inspiring morning of faith, hope, and healing at “The Faces of Mental Health: Fighting the Stigma One Face at a Time,” featuring guest speaker Nita Clarke.

Hosted at Pax Christi Catholic Church, this special program will feature Nita, a parishioner of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, as she shares her personal journey of faith, perseverance, and survivorship. Drawing from her experiences with grief, mental health challenges, and the loss of her father to suicide, Nita will offer a powerful testimony of hope, resilience, and the strength found through faith in overcoming life’s challenges.

Through her story, attendees will be encouraged to approach mental health with greater compassion, understanding, and openness while helping break the stigma surrounding mental health struggles.

All are welcome to attend this meaningful opportunity for reflection, encouragement, and fellowship. Lunch will follow the presentation.
