On Friday, November 10, neighbors gathered and celebrated the new home opening for the Pratt Family in Jackson, KY. The dedication marks the completion of the first of four ongoing housebuilding projects in response to the Eastern Kentucky floods that left many homeless in 2022. Josh Van Cleef, the Director of Peace & Justice for the Diocese, commenced the event with a blessing of the new house. He was accompanied by members of the Housing Development Alliance, who co-sponsored with the Diocese the construction of the new home: Assistant Director Chris Doll; Director of Development & Communication Mindy Miller; and Flood Recovery Coordinator Julia Stanganelli.
