In preparation for a fall launch of the Encounter School of Ministry Lexington Campus, I have the opportunity to meet and pray weekly with other Satellite Campus teams via Zoom. Each week we cover the course content for the week and then break into small prayer teams in chat rooms. A few weeks ago after a discussion on physical healing I was prayed over for a hip issue. I had a torn labrum that was surgically repaired 2 years ago but there has been an area in the bursa that has remained painful, preventing me from sleeping on my left side for several years. As my prayer partner prayed I felt a deep cold in the area of pain. After the prayer, the sensation of cold left along with the pain and has not returned. I've been free of the bursa pain and able to sleep on my left side ever since that evening, praise God!

Brian Frey had suffered from back pain for the past 30 years. The team, led by Fr. Michael Flanagan invoked, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, our Blessed Mother Mary, and St. Padre Pio. Along with prayer, sacramentals were used—Holy Water, and a relic of Padre Pio which was placed on Brian’s back.
After prayer, Brian was asked how the pain was and he said it was all gone! The team, as well as Brian and his girlfriend Tammy, praised the Lord. After giving Brian ways to stay close to God, he and Tammy thanked the team saying that they had the feeling that they would “float home.”
Fr. Michael followed up with Brian a few months later finding that he had remained pain free for two months but was currently experiencing pain again. After a second session of prayer for anxiety, the pain left again, along with the anxiety. During the second session, Brian also requested prayer for an increase in business as he is self-employed as a construction worker.
As of October 2, Brian remains free from pain and anxiety. He also mentioned that new people are requesting his help for construction projects. Brian thanks Jesus and St. Joseph daily and is making a consecration to St. Joseph. Brian has asked that Fr. Michael submit this testimony for publication for the world to see.
I had a mammogram in August & it was fine. I went back in December for my yearly checkup & my Dr. found a lump in my left breast. She immediately left the room & made an appointment for me for another mammogram & an ultrasound due to my family history. I couldn't get in until the next week. That Sunday after church, I asked Father Charles Howell if he would do a Sacrament of the Anointing the Sick, which he did.
I went for my mammogram & ultrasound the next week and & the lump was gone !! My Dr. immediately had me come back into her office and did another exam. I told her, you can feel all you want but it is gone & you will not steal my joy. God took it from me. I don't think she was a believer, but I sure do know that I am. Amen !!

Hello Fr. Michael---This is just to confirm that you and several Catholic parishioners no doubt with God's help, were able to eliminate a very severe pain in my left shoulder during a healing session at the Cathedral of Christ the King in the Fall of 2018. You placed your hand on the hurting shoulder, and about four parishioners also placed their hands on my shoulders at the same time. You said some prayers for about 3 minutes. I felt an unusual feeling of peace . The pain was at about an 8 on a zero to ten scale before the prayers. Then within about two minutes after the prayers, the pain stopped completely ! I am a dentist and a man of science. And I will say it seemed miraculous to me. Except for one or two minor twinges, my shoulder has not hurt at all since you administered the prayers. It had been hurting badly for about 24 hours prior to the prayers. This event was witnessed by my friend Deborah Burton and by, I would guess, about 70-80- church goers. If you need any other verification, please advise. Sincerely, Oscar L Rankin, Jr, DDS
