Seminarian Education Fund

ST. CHARLES BORROMEO SEMINARIAN EDUCATION FUND

The Diocese of Lexington is committed to support the men discerning to become priests during their formative years in seminary education.  It costs approximately $400,000 per year to provide tuition, room and board, and other support to our seminarians each year.  We invite you to support the Seminarian Education Fund today.  Every donation amount matters!

We are establishing the Seminarian Education Endowment Fund as a way to provide for our future priests in perpetuity. Our goal this year is to raise $100,000. If we reach this goal, a generous benefactor has agreed to match it with an additional $100,000. We invite you to join us by making your own gift today!

Fr. Danny Taylor, ordained in summer 2020, says, “seminary formation helped me to grow spiritually, intellectually, pastorally, and humanly. Seminary formation deepened my relationship with Christ. It trained me in the truths of the faith. This understanding enabled me to go out and preach the Gospel. It helped me to mature as a human being, so that I would be a bridge for others to Christ. Seminary formation made me into a better man and disciple so that I could serve the Church as a priest of Jesus Christ.”

Please join us in praying for our seminarians and make a gift to the fund today. Through your generosity, we are able to offer a robust seminarian program to ensure we have great priests in our parishes now and in the future!
