RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is a program of formation and catechesis in the Catholic Christian faith for people not yet baptized (catechumens), baptized members of other Christian denominations (candidates), and Catholic adults who have not yet been confirmed in the faith (candidates). Any Catholics and non-Catholics interested in learning more about our faith and beliefs, though not on a track for receiving any sacraments in the Catholic Church, are also welcome to attend these sessions.
The RCIA meets from 6:30p.m.to 8pm most Wednesday evenings beginning in the fall through Easter. Catechumens and Candidates in the RCIA program receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism or Profession of Faith for those already baptized, Confirmation, Eucharist) during the Easter Vigil,
