Altar Servers assist the priest and other ministers on the altar during the celebration of the Mass. This ministry is open to parishioners in fourth grade or older who have made their First Communion. Preparation and training is required and is provided.
COMMUNION MINISTRY TO SICK AND HOMEBOUND

Trained Eucharistic ministers go to homes, hospitals and nursing homes to bring the Eucharist to those who are not able to worship with us on the weekend. Preparation and training is required and is provided.

These ministers assist the ordained ministers in the distribution of Holy Communion during Mass. Ministers must be 16 or older, be a registered parishioner of St. Lawrence, and be fully initiated Catholics in order to participate in this ministry. Preparation and training is required and provided.
LECTORS

Lectors proclaim the Word of God in the Scriptures during Mass, and read the Intercessory Prayers. A lector is expected to prayerfully prepare in advance of their scheduled commitment. Preparation and training is required and is provided.
MUSIC MINISTRY

Musicians are invited to share their musical gifts with the parish family by participating in the various choirs and musical groups open to the parish.
Women of Grace Altar Society

Our mission is to provide support to our pastor, focusing on the beautification and maintenance of the altar and worship space, in conjunction with other parish groups and within liturgical guidelines. We support the mission of our church through our love, labor, and prayers for all who participate in the body of Christ, which comes to us on the altar and draws us all together.
Objectives . . . As a special ministry, we attend to the care of the altar and vestments. We also provide the altar linens, flowers, candles, and sacred vessels. Additionally, we support our church by focusing our work on maintaining and enhancing the interior of the church, for the celebration of the Mass
SANCTUARY MINISTRY (Sacristan)

Sanctuary ministers serve the church by caring for the house of worship. This may include cleaning and custodial care, providing care for the linens and vessels used during the liturgies, and setting up for all liturgies. Preparation and training is required and is provided.
