1. Old Business
Review Our Lady of Guadalupe - See worship committee report. Evening mass well attended, people continued to come in even up to 8pm. Bill asked if Spanish speaking parishioners would consider a procession for MQHR as at St. Paul, which began 8pm at baseball field, arrived at church 11pm. Police escort. No Action Taken. Jeanne noted low participation at English speaking devotional hour 11-12 and recommended doing it again next year with more advertisement. No action at this time.
Review Christmas Eve and Day Mass
Attendance:
· 4pm -- more crowded this year, overflow foyer into hallway. Fr Dan offered idea of simultaneous Masses with second in gym. Committee expressed concern that might be confusing for participants. To be reviewed for next Christmas.
· 12am - beautiful music and decorations, low turnout. Fr. Dan suggested committee consider moving time to earlier – perhaps 10pm To Be Reviewed for Next Christmas.
Music – Sound system very nice. People playing outside were awesome! Suggestion: Increase volume when attendance larger
Environment - Beautiful, Great comments.. Suggestions: 1.Create a master “to do check list” such as light turn on, outside lights control, how to override timer. 2. Assure Kings arrive at nativity.
Midnight--- Some confusion with second lector – reading was chanted but two lectors came forward.
Liturgical Ministers SomeEM had signed up but did not attend at the 4pm Mass. Review with Jenna.
How can we improve next year? See above ideas
