Office of the Chancellor

The Chancellor serves as the principal notary for the diocese, establishing the authenticity and validity of specified diocesan juridical acts, the manner in which they are documented and the manner in which the documentation that is produced will be maintained, protected and secured in the Diocesan Archives.

The Chancellor also serves the Church community through the administration of:

REQUESTS FOR PAPAL BLESSINGS AND PAPAL AUDIENCES

Douglas E. Culp

Douglas E. Culp, Jr. has served the Catholic Diocese of Lexington since 2006. Before his appointment to the Office of Chancellor, he served the Catholic Diocese of Lexington in the capacities of Secretary for Pastoral Life/Bishop’s Delegate for Administration (CAO) and Diocesan Director of Religious Education and Adult Faith Formation. Douglas holds a Master of Arts degree in Theology from the Catholic Theological Union, a Master of Business Administration from the Jack Welch Management Institute, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky.
