Having lists of all of the programs available in our Lexington area churches, i.e., Journey of Hope for those healing from divorce. Each member present shared a personal experience where divorce had become a wedge between someone they deeply cared about and their parish community. We acknowledged that this needs to be an area where we need to look for more support within our parish communities.
5. The Lighthouse Catholic Media program was shared with the group, and will hopefully be able to be implemented within the month of October—the time of the Synod on The New Evangelization and the beginning of the Year of Faith.
6. Laura asked that the Evangelization Committee take an active role in Lent 2013's implementation of Living the Eucharist, particularly including the retreat for small faith-sharing group leaders.
7. Closing Prayer was shared and the meeting adjourned at 8:20pm.
