The Pilgrim Trail: New program for all parishes

The Pilgrim Trail is a new program being formed and set up for all Catholics of the diocese and their family and friends to visit all 62 parishes, missions and oratories in the 50 counties of the Catholic Diocese of Lexington in the coming years. This program, run and staffed by parishioner volunteers, will help visiting Catholics connect, celebrate our communities, develop relationships and gather yearly with Bishop Stowe and other parish “pilgrims” at the Annual Pilgrim’s Meal each November, starting in 2022.

Want to help design the map? How about the passport? Help create a symbol for the trail and to put on markers on back roads? Write a pilgrim’s prayer for our diocese? Relay info back to your parish? You are just who we need on the Steering Committee!

Steering Committee meetings begin June 22 via Zoom, but not all parishes and missions are represented. Contact your pastor or parish life director about being part of this new endeavor. More information is available on the diocesan events calendar.
