Ruslyn Case-Compton has been the director of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Lexington since July 2004. She’s also Secretary for Social Services with responsibility for the Father Beiting Appalachian Mission Center and the Offices of Peace and Justice and Respect Life. She has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Xavier University and a master’s in sociology from Morehead State University. Prior to joining the staff at the chancery office, Case-Compton was the director of Morehead Area Habitat for Humanity. A native of Northern Kentucky, she currently resides in Bath County with her husband of 27 years, Charles. The couple has two daughters and are members of St. Patrick Parish in Mt. Sterling.
